Coordinate colors rather than matching exactly.
Soft earth tones and neutrals create a timeless look.

Preparing for your session

What to Expect
Fresh 48 sessions are designed to capture the beautiful, raw moments of your baby's first days of life. Unlike a posed newborn session, these images focus on real connections, emotions, and all of the tiny details you never want to forget.
During the session, I will gently document moments such as:
• Baby's tiny fingers, toes, eyelashes, and newborn features
• Parents cuddling, admiring, and bonding with their new baby
• Siblings meeting and loving on baby
• Feeding, rocking, swaddling, and soothing moments
• Hospital details including the bassinet, blanket, hat, and room setup
• Family interactions and candid moments as you soak in these first hours together
Fresh 48 sessions are relaxed and baby-led. There is no pressure for your baby to sleep or cooperate in any particular way. We will take breaks as needed for feeding, diaper changes, comforting, or simply enjoying these precious moments together.
The session typically lasts 45–60 minutes and takes place within the first 24–48 hours after birth, either in the hospital, birthing center, or your home if you have recently delivered.
My goal is to preserve the authentic story of your growing family, the overwhelming love, the tiny details, and the fleeting moments that pass by so quickly. These images become treasured memories that allow you to relive those first precious days for years to come.
Relax. I’ve got this
Simply enjoy the moment. I’ll capture the rest.
You do not need to:
Stress about toddlers
Worry about messes
Have a perfectly behaved baby
I am a mom too — I completely understand nap schedules, toddler moods, and newborn unpredictability.
My goal is to capture:
The way you hold your baby
The way siblings look at them
The quiet in-between moments
The real connection
Those are the images you’ll treasure most.
